Though the cause of evil prospers,
Your truth alone is strong.
When pride climbs up the scaffold,
and tries to take the throne.
That scaffold sways the future,
Yet behind the dim unknown,
Stands God within the shadows,
Keeping watch above His own.

By the light of burning Martyrs,
Through Christ’s bleeding feet we track,
Walking up the hill of Calvary,
With the Cross that won’t turn back,
So all glory and all honor,
to our redeemer and our King,
sing the company of angels,
mortal men and every thing.

For He has stormed the gates of hell,
And by the world you have been lied to,
Covered up by one great veil,
